Find a check

Open Checks in the correct account and business. Search by payee, check number, bank, amount, or memo. Use the status tabs and Filters to narrow the results.

Useful views include Drafts, Awaiting approval where enabled, PDF prepared, Printed, and Voided. Open a result to review its details, documents, and available actions.

Understand the printed checks report

Reports focuses on print records. A check with a prepared PDF may not appear until printing has been confirmed. Previously printed checks can remain in the report after being voided.

Check which date type you are filtering: the date written on the check or the last print confirmation. “Printed by” identifies the person who recorded the latest confirmation. Older records may not have a known date or person.

Export results

  1. Set the business, search, dates, and other filters you need.
  2. Review the result count and current filters.
  3. Open Export and choose Export all matching checks/records or Export this page.
  4. Save the CSV and confirm the exported scope before using it in another system.

A CSV export is a list of records, not a printable check PDF. Open the individual saved check for print or PDF actions.

If records seem to be missing

Confirm the selected account and business, choose a broader date range, and use Clear filters. Look in Checks if the record is still a draft or has only reached PDF prepared. Your role may restrict which businesses or actions are available.

See Check statuses & voiding to interpret the result, or Accounts, businesses & access if the workspace is wrong.
