Create checks in bulk

Enter several checks or import a CSV, fix row issues, and review a batch before creating it.

Prepare your rows

Open Bulk Check in the correct business. Add rows in the entry sheet, or download the CSV template offered in the page and use its column headings. Export a spreadsheet as CSV before importing it.

The CSV importer accepts files smaller than 5 MB with up to 200 rows. Keep routing and account numbers as text in your spreadsheet so leading zeros are preserved.

Review and fix rows

  1. Check each row’s payee, amount, bank, date, and memo.
  2. Match rows to saved banks and payees. Resolve missing records using the available add or match controls.
  3. Use the issues filter to find invalid or incomplete rows. Correct them or uncheck them to exclude them.
  4. Review the selected check count, payment total, and available allowance. Excluded rows are not part of the selected batch.

Importing a CSV does not by itself mean checks have been created. Check the review step and confirmation before continuing.

Create and print the batch

Review the selected rows, then confirm batch creation. Follow any approval or permission messages before printing. Review the PDF output and test the layout before printing the full batch.

Record successful printing only for the checks that actually printed. If a download or print fails, reopen the saved batch or checks and use the recovery options instead of importing the same rows again.

Handle remaining rows

Use the available controls to continue remaining rows or export excluded rows for correction. Review each row’s state so a previously created check is not duplicated. See Check history & exports to find the resulting records.
