Quick Check or a workspace?
Understand which check-writing flow fits your task and where your records are saved.
2 min readQuick Check
Quick Check is a public form for creating a single printable PDF. You enter the payment and bank details directly. It does not add that check to a workspace register or reserve a workspace check number.
Keep the form open until you finish and download the PDF for your records. Guest PDFs include a small CheckCrafter.com credit.
Signed-in workspace
The workspace lets you reuse saved banks and payees, save drafts, and find check records later. Available actions depend on your account plan and permissions.
- Write Check prepares a check using saved records.
- Checks and Reports help you find records and export results.
- Protected sharing lets recipients use a link and PIN.
- Approvals adds a review step in workspaces that require one.
Move to a workspace
Create an account or sign in, confirm the active account, and add the bank and payee you need. A previously downloaded Quick Check PDF is not automatically imported into your history. Before preparing another check, check your existing records to avoid duplicating a payment or reusing its number.
